The mission of Sawtooth Designs of Austin is to create art and homegoods that are appreciative of the natural world using materials that are sustainable and domestically sourced. We create unique products that have quality construction and durable beauty.

It's an organic process that starts with looking at what raw materials are available and works toward what design allows that resource to shine.

The beautiful cherry wood table that Matt custom built for us is magnificent. He was wonderful about communicating various details – from the color of our wood selection as it ages and is exposed to light, to other practical elements such as the height and width of our design. Matt kept us updated throughout the process and completed it in the time frame originally estimated. His joinery, aesthetics and building skills are meticulous, expert and beautiful. We absolutely LOVE our table and feel so very fortunate to have this family heirloom.
